Targa Florio 73 v.0.23... for rFactor 2
Added 2024-08-04 15:52:04 +0000 UTCHeellooo hellooo everyone,
and welcome back to Targa Florio!
this time, as the title stated, it will be the first version release for rFactor 2!
as we are still working to process the photogrammetry data, I figured that this will be a good time to bring AC's most recent version to rF2.
well I did promised to bring the Targa Florio 73 to rF2 in the beginning. and I have to say, working with rF2 was quite fun. rF2's PBR materials really give plenty of room to play with. we also learned few things that can be beneficial to AC version as well. so it was definitely worth it.
If you guys still like to play rF2, I hope you like this version. Please do keep in mind that it is not the final version. there are still a few things on the to do list. The render distances are still being sorted out, and spectators are still being prepared.
here is the Targa Florio v.0.23 for rF2
I hope you have a great weekend. and enjoy your summer break!
Don't forget to drink a lot of water, get enough sunlight, do workout, and enough rest!
stay safe, stay healthy,
and as always, Thank You!

2024-08-14 11:16:11 +0000 UTCThanks Abulzz. I suggest looking at svictor's version which is a GPL update, it has things significantly worse than your version, but also please observe the relatively many things it does better, in order to inspire you to improve your version. But I already love your version and I thank you very much. Another very strong suggestion: Absolutely make realroad work both in terms of the dynamic and realistic rubber put on the track, the rubber profiles as on all rFactor 2 tracks (not svictor's version precisely), and the full support for wet roads with the operation of presets and puddles. These things (rubber and wet track) have a big visual impact, BUT ESPECIALLY an impact on physics. And if we use rFactor 2 rather than another sim, it is obviously for the realism and the credibility of driving the cars (official cars and ULTRA modded cars hand-picked). Anyway I am very happy. I only use Nordschleife (and other Nürburgring tracks) + Targa Florio. THANK YOU!!!

2024-08-07 12:30:22 +0000 UTCI did it and it verified it and installed it..then it showed orange V in the list of content (others are green). Up it shows 1update pending..then I go to update it. It starts to update...and after update..still 1 update pending...starts to update and after that 1 update pending again...I'll try to update it 100-times next. =D
