I'll remember that, but I don't think it applies to my problem; I always keep autosave turned off. Curiously, the day after I posted my complaint, Firefox upgrade 127.0.1 arrived. When I use that, the problem almost goes away completely! But all my other browsers still run the game quite horribly. I guess I'll have to use Firefox 127.0.1 for The Company! But even with that, performance seems very slow, and you keep getting Firefox messages saying The Company is making it run slow, do you want to quit. Maybe the game is getting too big for HTML?

2024-06-24 19:28:54 +0000 UTCI've had success in turning off autosave and keeping save slots under 3. That prevents massive lag spikes or crashes for me. Still inconvenient at times though.

2024-06-24 13:26:49 +0000 UTCDear Westane: The game has started taking a long time to do anything. For example, after sex with Dakota, I go to bed. And the game seemingly hangs. I'm offered the option of terminating that session, or waiting. Then again. Then again. Last night I got that message in that sitch over and over, and I tried different browsers, Chrome and Firefox and Safari, all of which behaved alike. Do anything else, esp. involving arithmetic (s/a selling off serums) and one sees similar tardy behaviour. Sex, when you can get to it, does run through without delays. But those long waits on mechanical steps impede one's enjoyment of the game. Any suggestions? I should add, I'm playing on the downloaded Backer - 5.9.1 version.
