Apple’s New Policy and How It Affects Patreon Subscriptions

I wanted to let you know about a recent change that Apple has implemented. Starting in November 2024, Apple requires all payments made through the Patreon iOS app to use their in-app purchasing system. As a result, new memberships purchased via an Apple device will incur a 30% fee imposed by the App Store.
To avoid any additional costs, I recommend subscribing through an Android device or a PC/laptop, if possible. This change only affects new subscribers using Apple devices.
Please understand that this decision is entirely out of our hands, as it is solely a measure implemented by Apple. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
