Spexte Table Solo Alt 02 (Short Edit)
Added 2023-03-26 18:58:36 +0000 UTCFor this month's "short edit" please enjoy this new spin on an existing animation that was more or less me experimenting with a few things. For this one I wanted to push the limits of high contrast back-lighting in my render engine (Octane), and I think I still have some refinement to do in that department to get it where I want it. I tried some more dynamic camera work as well, trying to balance more camera movement while not obscuring the action as it were.
I also wanted to try out some plap foley recorded by Elle(ListenToMyVoice) as well as a track she recorded for this animation. I should note that this particular vocal track was recorded when she was still experimenting with her equipment settings to get the right results for animation work, so it sounds a little different than her later efforts.
Last but certainly not least, I recently got a bespoke music commission returned to me from Dani Long, so I wanted to test that out as well. The commission was structured with different musical layers in 16 second chunks, so I had fun putting those together like lego bricks.
