June Recap

Hope you guys had a great Pride Month and are enjoying the sun! Welcome to all the new folks from this past month and thank you to everyone for your continued support! June was a pretty big month for my art, since I feel I was able to put out some of my best work yet! Here's a quick little recap of what we saw:

• To start, I finished up my Seasons in Republic City series with a cute little Spring comic that I had started in May.

• I then followed that up with a steamy 3-page summer Korrasami comic. Ember Island has never been hotter.

• Of course, we then got Page 4 of Korra Sandwich, Part 2!

• Finally, I didn't forget about the next page of Peacekeeper! June's art just took a bit more time than expected and I wasn't able to get started on it until a few days ago. But I'll be sharing the progress on it soon and will have the final page up later this week.

Gumroad Status

A few months ago, Gumroad decided to ban all NSFW content on their platform, and it seems like they've finally started enforcing that policy this past week, since a few NSFW artists I follow have had their stores taken down. As of this writing, mine is still up but it's likely only a matter of time before it's gone too. I'll be setting up a replacement as soon as I can and letting you all know where I'll be moving my store once everything is settled.

For now, May's art is being moved to Gumroad tomorrow as planned. So this is your reminder to grab it before it's gone! UPDATE: Done! You can now get the files here.

July Artwork

Once I'm finished with the next page of Peacekeeper, I'll be jumping to this month's planned art: A 2-page CaitVi comic, starting with a SFW page 1 leading into a NSFW page 2, similar to the Korrasami Embers comic (I'm gonna try to actually keep it to 2 pages this time). Thanks to your votes, this comic will feature Vi getting a little caught up in the moment during a watergun fight at the beach. Hope you guys like what I've got planned 😉

Following that, I'll naturally continue with the next page of Korra Sandwich. As for what's coming after that, I've decided to make a slight shift in plans...

Korrasami Day 2024

This December 19 will mark the 10-year anniversary of Korrasami, and I've been wanting to do something big for it. I've written out and storyboarded a special 6-page comic that has been in the back of my mind for some time now.

There's no way I'll be able to cram 6 pages into December, though, which is why I'm starting it now so I can take my time and make sure I get it right. I'll be working on it alongside the other ongoing comics, and since I really want to get it done on time for Dec 19, I may occasionally skip a page of Peacekeeper if I think I'm running tight on time in a given month. That means July's Peacekeeper page may get bumped in favor of this new comic.

Sorry to those of you who are looking forward to seeing more of Peacekeeper. I have every intention of continuing it whenever I can, I just really want to make sure I finish this new comic on time, whereas Peacekeeper is kind of a practice project with no set deadline to worry about, so I figure I can afford to push it back now and again.

Back to the Korrasami Day comic: I'd like to keep the final thing a surprise until December, so I'm not yet sure if I'll actually share the final pages until it's done. I may decide to only share the WIPs with you guys until Korrasami Day, especially since this comic will also really push me out of my comfort zone and, with a little over 5 months between now and December 19, I might want to go back and rework finished pages a bit before the final release.

July Polls (for August's art)

Speaking of comics, I've been drawing a lot of them lately, and later on in August I'd like to take a short break. So, once I'm done with updates to the ongoing comics for that month, I'll be doing a series of quick and simple summer-themed pinups.

Both July's SFW and 18+ polls will cover a range of characters for those. I'd really like to get some more mileage out of the summer outfits I did for Korra and Asami in Embers, so I'll include them as options in both polls, along with Caitlyn, Vi, and a handful of other ladies I'd like to get to if I have the time. I'll be starting with the most popular picks you guys choose and working my way down the list until the month is over.

A little more time for art in July-August

For the next couple months, I'm going to have a bit more free time to dedicate to my art. I don't want to promise more art just yet since I'm already playing catch-up with last month's stuff and, if my Gumroad store gets closed down, having to move my store will definitely cut into that time too. But it should at least let me tackle all of that and this month's art without falling behind again before I need to go back to my regular cadence in September.
