Reminder about the iOS app and Apple Fees
Added 2024-10-29 13:01:39 +0000 UTCHeya, folks. This is just a little reminder that, starting next month, Apple will be adding an extra 30% fee to any NEW Patreon memberships purchased through the iOS app.
From what I understand based on the above statement from Patreon themselves, the 30% fee will NOT be added for CURRENT patrons. Only NEW patrons who sign up via the iOS app in November and onwards will be affected.
So, if you're just checking out my page for the first time and plan to sign up during or after November, or if you cancel your current membership and want to rejoin again in or after November, please do not sign up through the iOS app if you want to avoid paying the extra fee. You can sign up through any web browser or Android device instead. Those of you who are already signed up before November will continue to pay the same you've always paid, so long as you stay signed up.
