Worldbuilding Post
Added 2016-12-13 20:45:41 +0000 UTCI finally finished another worldbuilding post. Took me a while, I know. You can find it here. I intend to write more about magic, both about the basics of it and about specific fields of it like alteration and the like. For now, this will hopefully do.

If a big enough hole is made in the right spot, you could indeed make an artificial mana well. It's just that doing so is a massive undertaking and it's usually easier to find an existing, natural one and built a settlement on top of it.

2016-12-20 16:01:41 +0000 UTCIs there such a thing as artificial mana well? If wizards are capable of teleporting cities they are bound to be able to make big explosions. Or why not simply teleport a bunch of dirt out of the way? If mana rises up from below any deep hole should produce a mana well, right?
