The dirge moth potion cannot be stored for more than a year. Kael was just conveniently placed to take advantage of their last emergence. Any numbers to the contrary are because I made a mistake somewhere or didn't think things through when throwing out numbers. Anyway, no, there is no point in Zach and Zorian hunting for a prepared soul sight potion. If they want the ability, they'll have to use some other method.

I was doing a reread of the story and was wondering when Kael drank the Soul Sight potion, and how long the prepared potion can be stored? Earlier it mentions Zorian put Kana's age around 5, and Kael around 12 when she was born, which would have him 17 now. Chapter 16 mentioned a 23 Dirge Moth cycle, which has no Dirge Moths emerging for "At least another Decade" Assuming 12 years until the next emergence, the last one would have been 11 year or more ago, and Kael would have been mo more then 7, younger then Kirielle is now. If he learned Soul Magic from his mother-in-law because she was interested in it, this seem to young for him to have been studying that magic. Or even be romantically involved with his wife. Did he drink a potion she had made years earlier when he began his study of soul magic? Would Zack and Zorian hunting for a prepared soul sight potion someone else made to be used in the years between Dirge Moth cycles be a valid approach?

I would bet the orb secret function allows them to keep objects between restarts ... wonder what the other keys will do (and where they are)

That's interesting I have a bet with my son that they won't have to fetch the Orb as the keys will stick to Zac and be with him due to the bond with the marker

The restart was sufficiently atypical that they wanted to just sit back and observe what would happen. They can fetch the orb easily enough in future restarts, so there was no hurry from their perspective.

Why didn't they do anything productive at the end of the restart, like faking a black site inspection to present the orb before the gate? If it is a key, there is the possibility of unlocking more permissions, and having the gatekeeper willing to give more info. Right now they don't even know if all keys need to be presented at once, or if presenting one trips a flag and it is valid for the rest of the restart.

Gotta question. When will we see returns on investment, on all the bloodline ritual stuff that Zorian has been cooking on in the background for the past 30 chapters?

God that was good ! I really appreciate those conversations with the family. And this pressure is good to ! I really wait for fortov to be involved. Maybe will zorian play the intermdiary with miss librarian jr and his brother. But overall i really wish they find a way to give more energy to the loop, so that there would be more chapters.
