September update!

Dev has been slow as most of us have been preoccupied with other aspects of our lives, but I just wanted to give an update because there are a few important things that have changed since the last update!

FIRST UP: THE UNITY STUFF

Now if you have been following literally any indie developer you have a good chance of knowing what I'm talking about. TLDR: the unity engine (Which is what we use) added a (in my opinion, malicious) policy that after a certain point will charge us 20 cents per install. This obviously isn't ideal, so I've been weighing my options about what to do. I think it's fairly likely that Blueblood Arena stays in Unity since we're much closer to completion in that game... however Blueblood Breakdown might start over or be ported to another engine. As for what exactly, that's TBD.

NEXT: THE NEXT BLUEBLOOD ARENA DEMO

I had originally planned to release another demo of Blueblood Arena sometime this month, however due to a lot of factors I don't believe another demo will be realistic until closer to the game's release. at the VERY LEAST I'd hope to get a good amount of content done before Combo Breaker next Spring, which gives us a bit over half a year to get the next update out. I think that's reasonable.

FINALLY: THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

It means a lot to us that you all are willing to support the game even though admittedly not a whole lot of progress has been shown. I promise you, a lot of things have been put in place since the last demo! We have consistent buffers out of jump, double jump, airdashing AND wakeup now! That was always a huge sticking point for whoever played Blueblood and I can assure you the game feels a lot better in that regard already!

I'm kind of rambling at this point but TLDR thank you so much for your support and we're working towards making these games the best that we're able to do! Your support is much appreciated!

Yeah take as much time as you need. Stuff is hard for Unity developers right now.
