Noah and the Black Magician By ALLDICE

[Summary] 

Noah, on the verge of death, discovers a mysterious door deep inside an old ruin.
There, she acquires the ability to copy the power of others, and the ability to charm anyone.
but it shackles her with a large financial burden, and a compulsion to activate the Magic Tower.
And so she sets on a journey to find the tower, and reveal the world's secrets...

Review:

A beautiful 2D pixel art action/puzzle platformer, that utilizes different transformations powers in order to progress.

So you control Noah, whom by interacting intimately with different enemies she transforms and gain a new power. Yeah.. that's a new one alright.
No longer you only get a measly animation scene, but now it also comes with a special ability! You're kinda like Kirby, only that the powers enter through a different hole. :3

The stages are rather simple. It is certainly a puzzle platformer with some action, but far from being rocket science. You'll immediately pick up what to do next, and soon enough you'll realize that you can ignore 50% of the stage and 30% of the intended solutions.
Even so, it is still entertaining to go through, while each stage doesn't overstay its welcome and will take you 3-4 minutes to beat at worst case scenario.

I have to point out that the music is absolutely banging, which made me wonder if it was actually "borrowed", because honestly games like these have no business having music this good. (definitely helped going through the slow bosses)

What about the meat?
As anyone with eyes would notice - this is a pixel art game, and pixel games are automatically a level above the rest in terms of quality.
This game doesn't have any CG or a lot of individual animations (no variants), but just enough that I can respect.
There are 9 "H-able" enemies, plus 5 bosses with their own animations. The neat addition here is that every regular enemy animation has its own transformation variant, it's a nice touch.

I gotta admit guilty here for picking another pixel art game.
What can I say? it's an artstyle that sells, it shows passion and dedication to the craft without automating everything. I like to play games that make me feel that the devs care, because then I care and more willing to dive deep into them.

Noah and the Black Magician is a game that I recommend if you're looking for a quick platformer romp with entertaining H pixel animations.
