We made it so far all thanks to your INCREDIBLE support!
The very first post was almost exactly a year ago, and what is more symbolic signing off a full year of curating cultured titles that worth our attention than this beautiful round number?
Alright, so we blew the confetti (among other things) and did a little dance, but this post has to be more unique than the rest.
Admittedly, the blog is HUGE, and it's very likely that some of you missed or already forgot about some of the posts. I'm aware of it, but I also believe that is what makes the blog so special - giving each post an equal weight to another, without categorizing them by genres / fetish / artstyle.
I prefer that you take your time and even give as little as a glance to games that you'd originally wouldn't pay attention to, that can possibly pick your interest and let you discover a sweet experience that you might've ignored otherwise.
However, even after saying all that, I do want to dedicate this post to my own personal recommendations based on different themes. So hopefully this milestone of a post will provide a good starting point of games to look out for, for both new and old members alike.
I also want to point out that the my personal picks don't mean that I think less about other titles, but rather that these ones in particular appealed to me the most.
β Lets begin with probably the most covered genre in the blog - Action (ACT):
Pixel art H Animations top picks: Kabopuri 1 sequels & Kabopuri 2 sequels.
Absolutely my most favorite pixel animations across all the action games I've played without a doubt. I've yet to see another pixel game that uses such creativity and effort with each animation.
Usually pixel animations involve a very short loop, but here we get multiple transitions with some sweet CG that accompanies the major ones. The action aspect is pretty jank, but still delivers a decent gaming experience.
Gameplay & Pixel art top picks: Ayura Crisis and Succubus series (Libra Heart)
There are very few games that actually give a damn about creating a legit system with combos and weapons and artifacts etc... There are people that say if they wanted to play a real game they wouldn't play adult titles, but I say - if all you wanted was mature content, just go read a doujin or play a visual novel and skip all the dialogue.
I also don't like H games with low effort gameplay system just to get the juice, but with a real system behind it I feel more rewarded, and getting a double dose of dopamine from success and the reward that comes with it. Ayura and Libra ACT titles are very enjoyable, and very rewarding with incredible animations that keeps you interested in both type of experiences.
Highest production top pick: The Fairy Tale Of Holy Knight Ricca Two Winged Sisters
Probably the highest production Action H title ever made to this date. Everything is voice acted, INSANE amount of animations for every enemy and as part of story progression. Real action platforming with well designed bosses.
I mean, this is the whole package, and it's also the HIGHEST selling action title on DLsite. I could keep on writing, but you get the point, just play it. There's truly no other H game that matches this level of depth across all factors of an adult gaming experience.
β Moving on to Role Play (RPG):
Pixel animations top pick: Noelle Will Give Her All!
An RPGmaker game that plays in the simplest form without trying to innovate or become more than what it really is - a MASSIVE top tier 10/10 H animations bank based on the dumbest heroine that keeps trying to please everyone (including herself..).
If played at normal speed, I think there's at least no less than 2 hours+ of pixel H animations. Just take a moment to let that in. Absolute gigantic amount of content that will take you hours to complete, but forever to enjoy. A must play for any pixel art fan out there!
Highest production top pick: Dohna Dohna
It's the first post of the blog, because it deserved to be by all means. Very high level of voice acting and CG. Don't even get me started on the literal god-tier combat animations. So smooth, my god.
The story has plenty of dark humor and controversial ideas, to the point that nobody wanted to take upon themselves translating the game for so long. You'll find yourself very invested in this game with how much there is to do and immerse yourself with. A true RPG masterpiece through and through.
β We shall continue to our next genre - Visual Novel (VN):
Highest production top picks: Aurelia and Space Rescue: Code Pink
It was a REALLY hard choice between the two, that I decided I'll just put them together on the same pedestal of my personal favorites.
Aurelia brings us a stellar pixel art immersive experience, that also took me back into nostalgia lane for that comfy experience of similar type of games I used to play back in the day many years ago. A fun story with a rich world and interesting characters to meet (and do). It even has minigames and combat system that is featured later through progression.
On the other hand we have a more modern VN game that's unlike Aurelia's medieval / fantasy setting, goes complete 180 and takes place in space. The writing is on point, relatable, somewhat realistic, and even quite funny at times. (I'm a tough crowd btw) The artwork is incredible, simply put. You don't see much like it out there, that I honestly keep looking forward to future updates with how good that and the story are.
Both games are more modernized VN's with adventure sense to them, rather than the old-school 90% dialogue based games. Real gems and 100% must play in my eyes.
β Onwards to Simulation Game (SLG):
Most innovative top pick: Nicole's Risky Job
I must admit that I fairly enjoyed all of the simulation games I covered here without exceptions. I mean, to begin with I only cover what I like, so that's a given.
SLG games generally don't ask you for much - play "Barbie", insert one of multi-size and shaped objects etc... which is why Nicole's game was the one that left the most impression, simulating a cam-girl chat experience with a very unique way of turning what is seemingly a simple task into a real challenge as you progress through it.
Not to mention that the artstyle and animations are banging, and the voice acting is wonderful and very relatable to the kind of world we live at.
It's not a long game, as expected from a simulation that's supposed to be a limited experience, but it delivers so well, that I just have to give it two thumbs and two toes up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This covers up the main gameplay genres of the scene. But I'm well aware that many of you are also interested in more specific preferences, so here are my favorite picks for themed projects that I believe are at the top of their game for their respective fetish:
π¦ Furry: The Adventures of Kincaid - A very high quality pixel action platformer / metroidvania, featuring the sexy Kincaid beating and doing all the population of a foreign planet she landed on.
π Futa: Setalia the Demon Realm - (Need to update the thumbnail) Another beautiful pixel game where this time you journey as a shemale exorcist wielding a spirit minigun to eradicate evil and save the world.
π Femdom: Under the Witch - Get completely dominated by the gorgeous queens you come across as a "Hero". Beautiful 3D models and animations with high attention to adult themes details.
π©Έ Guro: Graveyard Executioner - Full of horrors that will crawl under your skin in an action platformer featuring a female mercenary. Adult themes mixed with getting sawed, split, fried etc.. NOT for the weak of heart!
π ALL of the above: Wolf's Dungeon - The Dark Souls of the H scene. Starts hardcore from the instant you boot the game. Very high quality project with plenty of themes mixed in together. I can only recommend it to open minded people looking for an experience that may leave you either shocked or turned-on (or both).

Here we are then, at the end of the post. I feel incredibly blessed to have received so much support from you that I could make it this far. I wouldn't keep on reviewing to such detail if you didn't show an increased interest in it.
As a testament to my appreciation, you can check out how my posts evolved from the first ones until today. The more support I received, the more in-depth the reviews became, because I personally would feel terrible not returning the same kind of love you've shown me.
