Marrubi (Circle)
Minus8 (Circle)
Neko Touch DX By CountMoxi

[Summary]

A post dedicated to Ankha - the most notorious object of lust from the popular IP "Animal Crossing" by Nintendo.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's about time I cover the highest quality products the internet has blessed us, for one of the most popular fictional characters searched for research purposes all around the globe.

Ankha has initially made rounds all over the internet thanks to Minus8 (which I'll cover soon) on multiple platforms with the extremely popular (and very well made!) "Ankha Zone" animation accompanied by the now-staple "Camel By Camel" background music by Sandy Marton.

Later on in more modern times it has invaded yet again with mostly censored and cropped clips sharing the same concept and spirit of the original work above.

Looking at the gallery I provided, it's no wonder why she became so popular, but lets give some proper credits to the artists that took it to the next level of cultural entertainment for us:

Minus8

In a post dedicated to Ankha, we must begin with the godfather that created the rhythmic lewd animation that eventually turned into a meme.

Minus8, who was also known as chtkghk and MinusPal, is a Korean artist that was mostly known for his rhythmic lewd animations and flash games.

Minus8 was notorious for abandoning his socials. Starting originally from DeviantArt, to multiple Tumblr accounts, and after a few other reincarnations he ended up today on Picarto (Can't link, ToS).

Fortunately, all of his works are archived on "his" Twitter account managed by another person.

A quick search for "Ankha Zone by Minus8" on google will lead you to the project, or rather - its tribute animation by another major creator called "ZONE-tan" (originally "ZONE-sama" or just "ZONE") that snowballed into the massive popularity our feline friend has been receiving throughout the years.

Other than Ankha, Minus8 has gained notoriety for anthropomorphizing popular video game and other fictional characters such as pac-man ghosts, various super mario characters, and more...

Marrubi

With all due respect to Minus8, at 2022 you can't say Ankha without saying Marrubi.

Marrubi is a "Female 3D animator who loves creating art~!❤️"
She makes sure to highlight in a separate line on her bio that "All characters are 18+" - a much needed clarification in an era where people are slapping "age" onto fictional characters.

She started out with other furry characters, first in 2D, but once she started working with 3D projects on blender, her popularity skyrocketed - going from 200 followers in August '21, to 10k in November '21 to no less than a 130k followers just a single year later!

Marrubi is now mostly identified with her Ankha 3D animations.
Her insane quality is second to NONE! There is no other artist in the scene nowadays that matches the quality her liquid smooth Ankha animations.

Using realistic settings and partners with the already realistic-looking main model, has created a whole new bar of quality for other artists to aspire to.

You can follow Marrubi to view most of her animations works on her Twitter.

She also shares more detailed works, higher res, download etc... along with other related updates about her projects on her Patreon.

On final note, those of you who have seen my VN upload with Marrubi's work in it.
The game is called "Cuidando Da Minha Gatinha" (Taking Care of my Kitten) can find the game available for free on itch.io.

The game basically runs on rails, but giving context (or "timeline") to all of the animations that were released on their own.
Fair warning that it's only in Portuguese...

Also the game is only available for Android, but you can run it on PC using GameLoop. (by Tencent)

Neko Touch DX

Our final quality project is one that I have already covered very briefly in the past almost a year ago.

Given the structure of the blog, I find it appropriate to associate older reviews when in context with newer posts, just in case you might've missed them.

The game was made by CountMoxi, with what is probably the BEST Ankha H pixel artwork out there, from an artist that is known for their talent in pixel art.

It's a simple point and click with a few on-screen interactions, but mainly selecting a scene and the different phases for it on the small buttons menu to the left.

The animations are super smooth, accompanied by the staple "Came By Camel" 8bit remix, to complete the whole retro feel of the game.

CountMoxi also made another high effort mini pixel game called "Hilda's Reward", based on Hilda from Pokémon. You can find both games (and other small projects) for FREE on their itch.io.

They also run a Patreon where they post commissioned artwork, along with other early updates related to their projects.

And finally, you can also find some of their works available on Twitter and Newgrounds.

------------------------------------------------------------------

That's it for today!

Ankha has made a long way since she got memed into our lives, and I'm happy to still be able to cover both relevant and high quality content for her, that will hopefully continue bless us in the future. 🙏

❤️ For relevant H content of these projects you may contact me in DM for referrals.
