The failed hard drive with all my recent year+ data on it is still with the professionals and should be in going into the "Imaging" process very soon if not already in it I guess?
β οΈCalled earlier today and turns out they couldn't get the replacement read/write head on
the HDD to get any data(So "drive head failure"), and they will have get another replacement part and try again. Also seems like the worker "Daniel" over phone said something along the lines about charges? Like somehow this will cause me to be charged even more money over the $1,195 that was "kindly" dropped from the Standard Service (15+ working days*) - $1,895 cost.
It has been 27 days.
β οΈbtw, forgot to mention, the original worker I was assigned to named "Steve" had left for annual leave for a week or so ago and still isn't back yet, but right now he's apparently feeling under the weather and won't be back until the end of the week or so...
for some reason the current worker named "Daniel" can't do what "Steve" can and I have no idea why since the hands-on specialists have already started working on my drive while "Steve" hasn't been in at work.
