Development Log 4: A Royal Wardrobe

Hi everyone,
I have recently come to the conclusion that the game would do well with an inventory system. Once I started making more buttons that toggle your clothing on or off (like your panties) I realised this worked pretty awkwardly. The game needs a nice little overview of the currently clothing and other items your wearing in one of the sidebars so I'm currently working on that.
While implementing this I realised it is much more fun to have a little selection of clothes that you can pick from. Currently they have no impact or stats or anything, they're just visual. You will be able to select your outfit as a prince and also as your alter ego for when you slip out of the castle to venture into town (if you went the crossdressing route, if you're more dominant you can choose to just leave the castle as prince instead but this changes most of the interactions outside the castle).
The recent poll I posted concluded that the game could use slightly more sexual content, that's why I wrote some scenes to focus on that. Some of which are made possible using a new magical artifact: the Orb of Scrying. This orb lets you spy on people in their private quarters of the castle, quite nifty. The idea of this artifact basically stems from the "hidden camera" concept in many other similar games, given a fun medieval fantasy implementation here.
To finish this devlog: The next update will be out this week. Content wise it will be similar to the last updates, I'm currently writing a bunch towards the first big update which I plan to release next month. The goal is then to open up the town and forest area's completely, with a bunch of content that you can freely explore while you're away from the castle.

If you can't share the current situation, I have no choice but to consider canceling your subscription. I hope the news comes up soon.

2024-08-16 13:43:06 +0000 UTCPaperdolls are great because you can see how the outfit/TF etc looks on that particular character and really creates a more realistic and engaging experience. The downside is they can get clunky with the amount of artwork required but there are some ways to streamline it.
