The full batch of Actionable Threat shirts arrived, so now begins the arduous task of folding and bagging them all; 750 shirts total. It's an all day all night task, but on Monday I did get the chance to go out and see Look Back while it was in theaters.
There's a feeling that Fujimoto touches on a lot; the worry that your art can't stand on its own. I really identify with that. I get by obviously, mostly through good writing and business acumen, but I've never felt like a 'good artist'.
I know exactly what the problem is, I just don't draw enough. I have a bad habit of just coasting after a long day of doing hitsuji shop work, and I'll end up going days and days without drawing anything. I could try and cope and say I'm very busy and I run a business etc, but the fact remains; If I want to get better I have to put more time aside for it!
I'm drawing on my iPad more and more. I bought the thing four years ago but for a long time I just used it for reading manga. Lately though I'm really digging just doodling some bullshit on the couch.
