So glad you two reacted to this colossus of a movie with so many twists and turns. The making of the movie was like the making of the bomb itself. I'd also like to point out that details I hadn't noticed before we're revealed to me through your reaction of this film. I very much enjoyed this reaction! BTW, Cillian's name is pronounced Killian.

2025-04-23 01:40:05 +0000 UTCI love his work on everything he's done. This was great in every aspect, the film itself, the reactions. Like Dunkirk, I think Nolan can do so much not only from a historical standpoint, but then he gives such range with his work like TeneT, Inception, and of course Interstellar. As always I think the score was fantastic, and his casting is always perfect and this film was no different.

It is a heavy movie. It is dealing with death and destruction on a global level when you talk about nuclear weapons. I can understand how Oppenheimer would want to create the A Bomb as a scientist. But, also how dangerous he knew it would be and unsure if they should do it just because they could. But then there was the fear of what would happen to the world if the Nazis got the bomb first. Then he felt they had to do it for the good of the world. Hard decisions.
