First saw this in the theater as a kid. My favorite line: "Now get back in the stands before I shave off half your mustache and shove it up your left nostril."

2025-04-23 02:30:13 +0000 UTCWow. Walter Matthau was 56 when this movie came out, which is younger than I am now. He always seemed like 100 years old, even back then. I saw this movie (in the theater) back in 1976, but haven't seen it since. It's a different experience watching it as an adult. Yes, like Cassie said, it's cute, fun and nostalgic.

2025-04-12 01:11:46 +0000 UTCI hope she watches “What’s Up, Doc”. Ryan O’Neal and Barbra Streisand. A classic and the final joke in the movie is a reference to Love Story. Also Zero Effect is a great Ryan O’Neal movie (although he’s in more of a supporting roll)

2025-04-10 19:30:27 +0000 UTCI'm glad there's so much commentary here regarding Tatum O'Neil's performance as I think it was a clear stand out. She seem to always have been great. And of course, her father gets mentioned (good and bad) quite a bit too. I continue to hope that Cassie gets her chance to react to Ryan O'Neil and Ali McGraw in 'Love Story' (1970) sometime soon. Everyone deserves to experience that great romance and what follows.
