I just found out. Joe Don Baker. The actor who played the private investigator who gets killed in their home. The actor passed away on May 7th. Just a few days after Cassie watched this.

This maybe wasn’t the movie choice to have lots of caffeine before watching! De Niros performance was one of his best. This movie is almost in a genre of its own, as so many variations of this type of story have been done. Arlington road, pacific heights, unlawful entry as well as the ones you mentioned. But the movie I would want you to watch is “Frantic” (1988) with Harrison Ford. It’s not the same sort of story, but it has the same intense feeling to it, maybe abit like Ransom?!Ford, was in his prime and is excellent in it too. Thanks for the reaction.
