I was 14 when I went with a couple friend's to watch this at the theater. After we left to walk home we were so hyped we must have kicked every street light out on the way home!! After seeing this I joined the Zen Do Kai Karate classes here in my home town. By the time I joined the Army, after High School, I became a second class brown Belt. Now I'm 66 and in remission from two Cancer's. I should have been dead four year's ago. So, it's all "gravy" now!! Take care!!

Sounds accurate to me.

For many years, I myself have tried to live by the teachings of Bruce Lee, the following famous speech being a perfect example: "Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” Based on this teaching alone, I am virtually a Zen master. Not only have I trained myself to be 60% water, my mind is about as empty as they come.

As Cassie would say, "I need a win guys", lol. I think she got one.

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is a must watch, if you want to know more about Bruce.

When the poll with both Enter the Dragon and Rounders (poll winner) was still running, I remarked EtD wound do better than Rounders on YouTube . Both are at 58k currently, but Enter the Dragon did it in a day while Rounders took a week. Yes, I’m patting myself on the back for being right, because someone has to.

Richard Maurer

Looking forward to a Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) reaction.

https://www.youtubetrimmer.com/view/?v=yAseSMlg2ug&start=24&end=25 Not only did Bruce Lee die young, but this movie was released posthumously. 2:21 Phew! I almost forgot to like and subscribe! 2:36 Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is an example of wuxia, historical fantasy which can include very unrealistic martial arts. This is a much more grounded martial arts movie. 3:11 "You gotta give it to this other guy." An uncredited appearance by Sammo Hung, who went on to become a leading figure in martial arts movies. He even headlined a successful prime-time American TV series, Martial Law. 10:49 Perhaps we should have watched this movie on January 20th. :-P :-) I continue to be amused by the multiplicity of motivations for Lee taking on Han. [The two-second clip at the beginning of the comment is from the wonderful The Sunshine Boys (1975). Who knows, maybe one day the luck of the draw will bring it to this channel.]

Happy Hanukkah

There are some good YouTube videos about him.

Richard Maurer

You should google Bruce Lee and watch some of his more extraordinary skills. The man was about as superhuman as a human could ever become.

I'm going to put this out there while Enter The Dragon is fresh in Cassie's mind. While I do NOT recommend that you watch Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) in its entirety, I certainly DO recommend you watch the main feature IN Kentucky Fried Movie, which is called A Fistful of Yen. It's a truly hilarious spoof of Enter The Dragon.

Clarence Newman

Thank you for this one, Cassie. You have ouwa gratitude!

Man of Steel and 300 may be it, unless another Zach Snyder wins a poll or PAF.

Clay F

The greatest.

Trevor Rotan

Seen this one originally at the drivein as a kid ,in a 73 Omega. He was also Kato in Green Hornet 60s tv Series.

Tim C

Of course he didn't fight in competitions, but is rumored to have fought a few secret challenge matches, one of which hurt his back rather badly. Could be just urban legends.

Cassie, Roper was NEVER on Han’s team. That’s what the conversation about there being lines he won’t cross was all about. He’d happily do something shady but nothing involving actual violence against the innocent. Han suspected that and that Roper was not a reliable ally, which is why he tried to force him to fight Bruce. Incidentally, Roper was played by John Saxon, one of the most prominent actors in exploitation cinema in the 70s and 80s (kung fu movies also being considered exploitation cinema). You’ve seen him previously as Nancy’s dad, the cop, in “Nightmare on Elm Street.” Other films worth catching him in include: *Black Christmas (he’s a cop again) *Tenebre (one of the most highly regarded of the Italian gialli) *The Girl Who Knew Too Much from legendary Italian filmmaker Mario Bava

Just Plain Bob

No, Cassie hasn’t seen Kung Fu Hustle.

Bruce Lee, in his best shape, had less than 3% body fat. I think he was a mutant. He was the founding father of mixed martial arts. He adopted the "way of no way" philosophy, meaning he would study and utilize all forms of martial arts. It really upset many of the traditionalists of the time. Love all of his movies.

🎶 "In fact, it was a little bit frightening! But they fought with expert timing!" 🎵

🎼Kung-Fu-Fightinnng,that cat was fast-as-lightninnng 🎶"

Celeste McAllister🍓

One of my favorite movies as a kid. My dad and I would every now and then spend a whole Saturday watching all his movies.

Mike T

Bruce Lee is amazing. gone too soon!

Doc Larry

Is Kung Fu Hustle on the Already Seen It list? This movie was huge for thousands of kids growing up, and has influenced other movies from Hot Shots to Austin Powers, and it started some careers, namely Chuck Norris', as well as being responsible for a lot of picket fences being karatied. 😆

GomezAddams

I can’t wait til cass gets to the other Zack Snider movies.
