2025-08-16 06:00:07 +0000 UTCThe expression on Cassie's face as she sits through the episode recaps, my wife told me that I have the same expression while waiting for the UHD Blu-ray disc to load up -- it takes about the same amount of time! YT and streaming have spoiled me. I've lost patience for physical media -- but that's the only way to guarantee I retain access to my media. I'm glad that Cassie acknowledged GoT's iconic title credits in her episode 4 reaction. The last location was Vos Dothrak, where Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Khal Drogo (Jason Mamoa) are in the episode. FYI, the map of the world changes to reflect the locations depicted in each episode, to give the viewer a sense of where the characters are in relation to each other. For example, in the first episode, Pentos was shown on the map because that's where Daenerys married Drogo. Now Vos Dothrak is shown instead, because they've been journeying there. Another bit of non-spoiler info about the title sequence: The elaborate animations of the castles and buildings rising up, they are visual representations of the political intrigue and complex MACHINATIONS of the characters playing the Game of Thrones.

Being a leader is job to him, not a status symbol or a path to wealth and power, and he takes his job seriously. He doesn't need an elegant or refined name because he's not an elegant or refined man, he's a practical, no nonsense, blue collar worker from The North who's job _happens_ to be being the head of a great house.
