Lynn had her redemption arc, and after training and growing fond of Lana, she risked everything to save the little tomboy.
I'm a huuuuuuuuuuuge Dragon Ball fan, and this moment has always stuck with me as one of my favorites. Piccolo is my favorite Dragon Ball character, and this character arc that he went through during the Saiyan Saga is absolutely wonderful.

In my concept it was maggie who did this and protected benny to luan at keep living but that reveal is next year at my patreon and on DA Sooner.
