Weekly update!
Added 2023-10-03 02:25:33 +0000 UTCAlright, so we're starting out with these weekly updates on Mondays. The idea is to give you guys a regular update on what I've been up to, what I'm doing in terms of drawings, rewards, commissions, writing, and most importantly, the comic.
Let's start with that last item. As you've most likely seen, yesterday I posted the first page of the new comic. It's a scary prospect, cause now the comic is out there, it's really happening, and I need to commit to it and try to get it done as soon as possible.
I spent an awful lot of time drawing that floor plan for the page. Most people probably won't care about it, but I've been meaning to do it for a while. I mean, I'm (almost) an architect, and I like me some floor plans. But I really wanted to take the official Loud House floor plan and give it realistic measures. The cartoon isn't accurate to reality, the beds are too small, the closets are too big, building code isn't respected in terms of minimal distances. So I just took it and, while respecting the distribution of beds and furniture, gave it a more realistic look.
Aside from that, it was just an introductory page, not a lot happened.
I'll be working on rewards for the next few days, I have a couple of drawings that I hope I can get done quickly. And I'll be trying to finish the page by next weekend, though I can't promise anything. I have a big trip coming up soon that will take a lot of time out of me.
Given that I posted the first page yesterday, I don't have much to share in terms of advances, unfortunately. Thank you all for the support, and get ready, this comic isn't pulling any punches lol
