Yeah, it was obviously a typo, I've fixed it. It'll be properly written in the final PDF. Also fantastic analysis as always, and I couldn't believe it when you brought up the panel from the previous comic. That's the kind of stuff I pat myself on the back for when I'm outlining the comic, thinking "You've done it, Hero, this is art, this is cinema, this is storytelling", so seeing someone remember little things I've planted is kinda like reassurance that I'm not crazy and all the work put behind it is worth it lol

Oh-ho! So that's why you were very happy about my previous post, Hero! I had no idea you were going to include Lynn's quote about risk into Lincoln's stream of recollection. It just seemed to fit the situation at the time you posted that particular page; it was one of the first things that came to my mind. Now it all makes sense here. What a surprise that was! And of course, the highlight for me is that resolute look on Lincoln’s face. He’s done with sitting on the sidelines and being afraid and disappointed. Now is the time for action! He has finally found someone that he is willing to give it his all for – and that someone is in his arms right now. As I said previously, it’s time for them to make that impossible dream possible or they’ll just spend the rest of their lives full of regret and constantly wondering what could’ve been. I also can’t wait to hear what movie song Luna and Sam will play at the campfire to inadvertently set the stage and mood for Lincoln and Lynn. I’m going to make sure I sing along! Finally, as a footnote – and this is mainly the English major in me – I noticed in the first panel, Lincoln’s last speech bubble is grammatically incorrect. The words to and do should be reversed, so that his quote reads, “What did we do to deserve this?” instead of “What did we to do deserve this?” It’s a small, minor issue, but it still interrupts Lincoln’s flow of speech.

Everything's coming in full circle. Every part of Lincoln has been holding himself back, but now he's done holding back. He's not going to be afraid of impossible love because, for him, it's worth the risk. He's going to give it his all.

Come on Lincoln man up.

That’s a determined look on Lincoln’s face if I’ve ever seen one
