Right – just like you could control how you developed feelings for him, if I’m not mistaken? Just like those same feelings have countless times almost drove you into Lincoln’s bedroom to “finish what we started last year”? You’re not fooling anyone, Lynn – especially Lincoln. I just love how you incorporate the flashbacks into Lincoln and Lynn’s debate, Hero! When Lincoln says he’s okay with getting a little hurt as long as it’s with Lynn, that flashback of him playing tag with her and him tripping and falling really drives that point home. Lynn’s flashback, on the other hand, is a perfect example of how the world will turn their backs on them if they get discovered. First, it will be their parents, then the rest of their sisters, and the ripple effect will only have more impact as it gets bigger and bigger. You say you’re willing to risk everything for you and Lincoln, Lynn – prove it, then! Take that hope Lincoln is instilling in you and follow through with it. Be happy, accept your feelings with no regret or shame! Don’t walk away – there’s been too much pain and suffering already. Although, not gonna lie – like I mentioned in a previous response, I still hold some reservation that this whole thing could end in a completely different manner. After all, the song is still not finished. However, I would love to be proven wrong on that matter. But we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?
