Road to Rewrite the Stars V
Added 2024-03-18 23:04:27 +0000 UTCAfter so many months, Rewrite the Stars IV has ended. Usually I'd take a trip to the Caribbean to relax and enjoy my freedom.
But I don't have that kind of money, so I guess I'll just start working on the next comic right away!
I just want to share how the process is going to be. My roadmap to RtS5 has the following steps:
- Write the script → Determine the number of pages. (1 OR 2 WEEKS)
- Design the lineup of all the main character. (PROBABLY LESS THAN A MONTH)
- Make a cover + summary page. (A DAY)
- Final revision of the script. Make a thumbnail-kind-of sketch where I take the script and figure out how to draw the pages. (2 WEEKS)
- Start drawing the comic. (???)
I can't share wips of the script, but I'll be sure to let you guys know what the final number of pages looks like. And I'll make sure to write weekly updates to let everyone know how far along am I doing on the rest of the steps. I'll also be sharing WIPs and progress on the lineup like I did for the previous one. In fact, I'll probably make polls so you guys can choose which sister I design next.
The publication of that comic will be similar to this one. I'll be posting the pages as soon as they're ready. Just remember, I'll be taking college classes at the same time, so we won't be getting those 15 pages in 20 days like we did this time during my summer break lol
I'll start working on the script tonight, actually. So we'll see how much this takes me.

Don't rush and I know you said you can't share info on the script, but if you get stuck or need advice on what would be better, I'm more than happy to help. I know it would be confusing to ask without giving details of the script away, but you know what I mean. Good story with good moments, I live for that.
