Some of those instances, she was happy for him, albeit a little put off. And others, she was upset and angry with him. But if Hero plots it out that way, it will be interesting to see how Dani takes the news - her reaction could go either way, as far as I'm concerned.

My favorite panel is the first one, where they walk over a small bridge, but the karaoke one is a high contender. I struggled to pick up a song, but I think that one not only reflects their experiences, but it's also such an iconic song for couples that it feels like a milestone for them. All couples do it at some point, and they want to live it themselves. Thank you, as always, for the kind words and the encouragement!

2024-05-25 21:15:00 +0000 UTCIt’s a breath of fresh air to see Lincoln and Lynn go on a proper date. Even if they had to go to Canada and accomplish that feat, it’s still wonderful to see them act like a couple and do couple activities without fear of discovery. I will say, though, I never knew Tim Horton’s was actually based in Canada. I knew we had a couple of those places in the States, but imagine my surprise of that particular chain’s origins. So, I learned something today, in that regard. Who said comics can’t be informational or educational? One of my favorite panels was Lincoln and Lynn doing karaoke together, singing along to “A Whole New World”. It felt so significant, symbolic even. Although they’ve been an un/official couple for a year, this new dynamic in their relationship is still uncharted territory – a whole new world, you could say. And what better song to emphasize that learning process for both of these lovebirds than that iconic Disney duet? And besides, any instance of Lincoln and Lynn indulging on repressed feelings is always a plus in my book! But perhaps my favorite panel was Lincoln and Lynn at the hockey game, sharing another sweater and a kiss. What better memory for Lincoln and Lynn to recreate than the one that helped them realize their true feelings for each other? I got such a case of the “aww’s” over that scene being redone! Lincoln and Lynn deserve so much happiness together. It’s not their fault they caught feelings for each other; it just happened. And really, who is anyone to judge them over something beyond their control? They’re already happier than most normal couples are. I just love how you’re portraying this entire saga, Hero. All your work is so detailed, flows smoothly and feels so authentic. The way you pour your heart and soul into this story just shows so beautifully. Are you sure you’re not a long-lost animator that used to work on “The Loud House”?
