TMC - Pick'n'Mix 8 03 | VH - Tsolenka Pass | Next Theme!

Hey all!

We're back with the third release in our Pick'n'Mix 8 theme, featuring a new JamesRPGArt collaboration! We also have a huge Vampire Hunter map, as well as the announcement of next month's theme. Let's get started!

The MAD Cartographer | Pick'n'Mix 8

On the Road

For this release we wanted to fulfill a frequent request since we started adding tile-scroll features to some of our maps - active travel!

On the Road is a high utility map - a stretch of road covering a variety of biomes and times of day. This works for your party traveling - a pursuit, a chase scene, a race - you name it!

The main features for this map come with the Foundry module; using the tile-scroll module the scene automatically repeats and scrolls, allowing you to place your tokens on the map and giving the impression of travel! We've included two sets of scenes, Slow and Fast scrolling to allow you to set the scene to your requirement.

Lookout Point

A small outpost tucked away in a region of forest, this provides a small trading post or settlement. Is this a safe stop for your adventurers as they continue on their quest? Or are they here looking for an escaped fugitive who has established this outpost as their own homestead?

A ladder in the centre of town climbs down to a small storage chamber, with a blocked off sewer potentially leading to other adventures!

Variants are included for Day/Night.

For the Lookout Point map, we collaborated with JamesRPGArt, who created their amazing Lookout Point scene to accompany this map.

We've included this scene within the Foundry module. Members of our All the Things tier can find the Still and Animated (.GIF and .MP4 versions) in the Collaborations folder on pCloud!

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

As this is the last update of the month, assets have also been added to the Asset Library, and the 300ppi map images have been added to the Patreon store. Both of these can be accessed for free by Patrons subscribed at the All the Things tier!

Vampire Hunters

This month we've focused on the Tsolenka Pass. We've brought you encounters set on the slopes of Mt Ghakis for the first two releases of this month, and now we're tying it together with one of the main locations!

Tsolenka Pass - Gatehouse, Tower, & Bridge

The Tsolenka Pass is an enormous map, and one of the first major locations players will encounter as they begin to ascend Mount Ghakis. We've released this as a single map image, but have cropped it into a couple of smaller segments for the purposes of this Patreon post!

One of the biggest challenges we found with this map was making use of space - the official map is huge, but a lot of that is because the dead/out of bounds space (such as in the cliff, or out above the ravine) is actually for the purposes of giving diagrams on the cliff height, or a pop-out for the different floors of the tower. Because we didn't need them, we've managed to trim some space off the edges of the map.

We've also included a journal containing some great Tsolenka Pass specific content from our friend LunchBreakHeroes!

Next Theme | Dungeon Delve 2

We're excited to announce that next month's theme will be Dungeon Delve 2! Our first Dungeon Delve was a couple of years ago, and it felt long overdue!

This theme focuses specifically on maps that can be used for dungeon crawls, enemy lairs, and adventure locations. We'll be releasing Dungeon Delve 2 maps over the course of September, and you can look forward to content including:
