TMC - Frozen 2 | VH - Argynvostholt Month!

Hey all!

We're here with our first release of Frozen 2 content, as well as details of this month's Vampire Hunter content. Let's get started!

The MAD Cartographer | Frozen 2

As a reminder, this month we wanted to bring you snow and ice maps ready for the holiday season next month. However, overly Christmas-y maps are often very niche, so we decided to lean into horror and go with bleak, twisted winter maps!

The Sleeping Beast

This expanse of frozen forest is filled with winding paths, and constant snow drifts are as much as hazard as the bandits and beasts that stalk the trees. A ruined carriage on this map shows a recent wreck, and a failed icy campsite suggests that the survivors perhaps tried to find shelter before vanishing into the woods.

Ambient animated snowstorms are enabled by default in the Foundry version of this map!

Variants are included for Day/Night.

Frozen Meat Locker

Carved into a cavern or tucked away underground, this warren of caves has been repurposed into a horrific abattoir or laboratory; creatures mundane and magical are being captured and harvested for their meat, as well as worryingly humanoid meat. A series of secret entrances conceal the most prized cuts of all - a young White Dragon who fell foul of the trappers.

The Foundry version of this map has overhead cabling and fans, and the extractor fans are actually animated, spinning within their casings. Strongly recommend checking this map out within the module! 

Whale's End

Inspired by events from a homebrew campaign Harrison was a player in, this map shows the aftermath of a whaling crew bringing their prize back to the docks, unaware that it was magically tainted. Eldritch corruption quickly spread from the captured whale, infecting the town and driving the inhabitants to madness.

Now, the dock stands abandoned, iced over and the whale forgotten - though it continues to transform.

Ambient animated snowstorms are enabled by default in the Foundry version of this map, and there are multiple buildings that can be entered and canopy elements that can be passed beneath or climbed on top of.

Variants are included for Day/Night.

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

Vampire Hunters

This month we're going to be bringing you Argynvostholt, the massive ruin and home to the undead remnants of the Order of the Silver Dragon.

This massive ruin keep spans 4 floors (6 including towers), a private graveyard, chapel, and is the source (and destination) of multiple significant Barovian questlines.

We'll be bringing you the full Argynvostholt map as a deluxe release at the end of this month, as well as a full suite of additional supplementary content and side quests for the Order of the Silver Dragon, courtesy of our friend LunchBreakHeroes!

After Argynvostholt there's only one big map left, which we'll be bringing you to in December. I think you can probably guess what it is...
