Not only does Crosby appear to be enjoying initmacy with Sandra, he seems to be falling in love with her. He craves her company and the intimacy.

2024-04-12 00:07:53 +0000 UTCGerman civil casualties due to allied bombing were around 400k, roughly the same number of military casualties for either the US and Brittain. Most those bombing missions were hundreds of plans often over a 1000. Seeing those formations, each plan dropping a dozen 500lb bombs they essentially raked the entire city district they were targeting. There's a couple good documentaries that will give a better technical breakdown. The best is called wwii in color, the air war but it's on history channel and harder to get. On max/hbo is the cold blue and apple also pushed out a complimentary doc called the bloody hundredth which focuses on the show and even has some real vets from the show. I highly recommend that one at a min after you finish the show and the cold blue if you feel up to it.
