This movie = a pop culture phenomenon. Also, like you said, a fun movie. "If you're going to build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?" Huey Lewis of the band "Huey Lewis and the News" was the guy who told Marty his band was too loud and thus rejected. Marty uses a cassette tape w/Edward (Eddie) Van Halen to influence his dad. In 1980 while in high school, I saw the band Van Halen in concert when they were promoting their third album "Women and Children First" (1980).
