All the death -- innocent men, elderly, women, children. The phone conversation between Archer and Maddy near the end always gets me. Archer had humanity -- wish he could have got out and started over. Even with the sad aspects, I can never resist watching this movie when it comes on. Djimon Hounsou is good in this and in Gladiator you noted. Jennifer Connelly is good in this. She is a good actor and beautiful. I first developed a crush on her in "Career Opportunities" (1991). She is interesting (w/Jared Leto) in "Requiem for a Dream" (2000). Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the best actors of our time imo. An excellent movie with an Africa setting is "Hotel Rhwanda" (2004). RT=91% (audience score = 94%), IMDb=8.1, nominated for 3 Oscars including Best Actor (Don Cheadle). For anyone (e.g., in US/Canada) having syncing issues (i.e., her stream of the movie is a little faster), then do this: 1. If streaming her reaction on a PC or laptop, right click on her reaction video and then click "inspect". 2. Then go to the console tab in the new window that pops up and copy/paste or type in: document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 0.9591
