Watched on through norwegian streaming service. Sometimes it runs faster and to make it synced try to set the video to 0.95 speed. If it runs slower, set the video to 1.05 speed. Hope it helps! 💕
I use a watch along format in order to comply with copyright laws.

If you remember back from Band of Brothers, this was basically the Replacements episode but on a much broader and complete scale, not just their little part.

2024-07-15 19:03:29 +0000 UTCYeah this is one and many of this time having subtitles off is the only way to see the non English. Sometimes a double overlay but sometimes just nothing. Have to play with it when it doesn't cooperate.

2024-07-15 16:13:47 +0000 UTCAbout General Browning: I don't know if you noticed, but in the credits it listed British Generals Urquhart, Frost, Vandeleur, and Horrocks, as well as US General Gavin as "Military Consultants". They didn't have any problem with the way that Browning was portrayed, and all but Frost had direct interaction with him. A lawsuit would have to prove not just that he was portrayed unfavorably, but that the negative portrayal was both incorrect and that the movie production knew that it was incorrect.

2024-07-13 07:27:05 +0000 UTCAbout the subtitles: I have noticed that some streaming movies have this problem. When a movie has a mix of English and non-English dialogue, with the non-English portions subtitled in English in the original film (as you would see it in a theater), sometimes when you put on Closed Captioning on a streaming service, the service will replace the English subtitles with a closed caption of "speaking in XYZ" or something similar, or eliminate the subtitles with no closed captioning at all. This is irregular in that a particular movie may be affected this way on one streaming service but not another, and also that different movies on the same service may have some affected and others not. You just have to be aware of the possibility and be ready to adjust to it when it pops up.
