Just to clear up some details about Ymir from Season 1-2. The Ymir you know from Season 1-2 is not the Founder Ymir. The Ymir from Season 1-2 got picked up as a small child to impersonate the Founder Ymir by a group of Eldians who were running a cult and where living in Marley. When that cult got busted by the Marlyean police she got turned into a dumb Titan because she said that she was the Founder Ymir. In short, she got turned into a dumb Titan via an injection and flung off that very small wall you saw in this episode but it happened 60 years ago. In fact, go back and re-watch episode 10 (35) from Season 2 where you learn about Ymir's backstory and use the context of what you just learned from this episode and it will make sense. P.S. I've watched this series more times than I can count. Usually by watching other people react to it. That being said, when I watched your reaction of this episode I noticed a name mentioned that I previously did not notice before but that name has a connection to a character in Season 4. I guess what I'm saying is this show has a crazy amount of replayability because of the massive amount of foreshadowing that is just placed right in front of you but only after re-watching it over and over again do you end up connecting the dots.

It throws a lot at you, and I remember reading the manga chapter to this episode and not understanding half of the information presented in that chapter. One correction I would like to add is that the Ymir we know, and Ymir Fritz are two different persons. They share the same name, and the Ymir we know got her name from Ymir Fritz. Simple because the cult she was a part of claimed she was the reincarnation of Ymir Fritz and had her blood, which wasn't true.
