I had a discussion with the artist about backgrounds for this and future issues. This studio has some lovely work it's capable of, and I'm proud to be working with them to produce this and hopefully future issues of the series.
This background in particular, without the foreground character fully rendered, is alluring on its own accord and I just wanted to stop in the middle of production and share it :)

I'm excited to see it progress! We also have a "new" character in this issue that's actually a crossover character (whom we see in this panel), which I like doing.
