2024-04-01 00:37:11 +0000 UTCyeah, i also watched kingdom a lot of times. last time someone told me they found kingdom boring and the performances too much. which is crazy, the show is so entertaining and the performances are awesome. i could rewatch it so many times. its a stressful but good show for every kpop fan. and yes minhyuk is really fine

Anyway, my rankings based on this episode were (totally based on personal preference, not who I predicted would win) I think 1. THE BOYZ, 2. BTOB, 3. SKZ, 4. iKON, 5. SF9, 6. ATEEZ. Which kind of pains me tbh because I really like ATEEZ, but I just didn't personally love this stage. I've seen some of the other performances from this show in the past, though, so I'm excited to see how they fit into the actual episodes.

2023-09-28 12:28:24 +0000 UTCJust a heads up, in case you want to tailor your viewing experience to the way the episodes run: -Round 1 is actually Episodes 2 & 3, you get 3 performances each episode. -Round 2 is Episodes 4 & 5. -Episode 6 we get a little break and they have a Sports day, -Round 3 is in two parts, the first part where they break into 2 teams and compete with Rap, Dance & Vocals (those 6 performances are Episode 7 and the first half of Episode 8) and then they go back to their original groups and compete in the 2nd part of Round 3 (which is the rest of Episode 8 & Ep 9), -Episode 10 is the FINALE and it's a total of 6 performances from the groups and a final Vocal Performance that has 1 member of each group that they showed while they tallied up the final score. And yes they will continue to do these cliff hangers. Can't wait to enjoy the rest of KLW with you!

At least two of the groups end up having a comeback during the show (ATEEZ being one) and members from both ATEEZ and SF9 are filming the Kdrama Imitation as well as others being part of other productions (stage and screen). A lot was going on at the time for all of the groups. The goups also get along really well though you don't get much mingling here due to the "covid" standards they had to adhere to. But they all pretty much know each other.

Watching Kingdom really manifested Stray Kids as my ults because their performances are iconic but I also wanna shout out The Boyz. I became a stan through watching Kingdom and Road To Kingdom, their performances are just incredible and they are such good dancers. What I love about Kingdom is is that they are all really friendly and supportive to one another, you will see that in the next few episodes. Many of them also became friends through Kingdom or became closer. Like Changbin and Wooyoung are really good friends or generally speaking Skz and tbz are also very good friends, they have a lot of interactions through the years because they know each other for quite a long time and did many performances together especially in their Rookie years, some of them also frequently hang out together. There really is no real bad blood between all the groups even though they of course took the competition seriously.

2023-09-22 17:00:49 +0000 UTCyayy!! i watched this after i already knew and stanned stray kids, but it made me love them more. also, i knew of all the other groups too and i liked the boyz but this show also made me stan them!! they are amazing performers as well, which checks out with the fact that they won the show road to kingdom before kingdom.... and yea one thing about the boyz is they're gonna DANCEEEE!!

2023-09-22 15:57:47 +0000 UTCSo just some info, this round each performance was 100 seconds and the full version on youtube isn't necessarily longer but is a version without all the cuts to the group reactions and the rewinds. Also Hyunjin will not be appearing after this episode, Ateez Mingi was on hiatus for the duration of the show, and of course some members of btob were in the military at the time. And I can't say for all the members but Wooyoung of Ateez and skz Changbin are really good friends, as are skz Chan and btob Peniel
