Watching this now knowing that as a trainee Chan once experienced everyone getting cut except him hurts so much. You can see why Chan was nervous because he knew that the company could be severe at times and if you don't meet the standard they will cut you. Imagine the pressure of that, combined with the fact he picked each member so he's got to feel responsible if any of them were to be cut for the pain he knows they'd go through since he put them in that position in a way. I understand that it's a hard industry and there is a need for some strong criticisms if you're going to make it but I do hope they just edited out some more positive comments because you need to balance criticism with encouraging belief in yourself and confidence in a group of teenagers who are potentially about to be exposed to a very harsh, public, grown up world. The determination they all had to have had to make it through to debut and beyond has to be super strong.

I love seeing them cuddle as 3racha present their song to the group. Their relationship is so wholesome.

2023-09-27 04:04:34 +0000 UTCYou donβt get paid as trainees at all, in fact, you accrue debt since the company pays for your training (vocal coach, dance coach, performance coach, etc), dorms, food, etc and you pay it back once you debut. So a lot of new groups that arenβt as popular, usually from smaller companies, donβt make money for years and years and some end up being in huge debt cus their group never made it. The kpop industry is rough. I believe there was a statistic that only 1% of debut groups that actually make it big and profit.

Hyunjin is with 3racha (Chan, Han, and Changbin) and then Felix, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N are in a dorm together. I think it is very cute that as much as the members are happy to have their own individual bedrooms now, they miss each other. Changbin said that Seungmin would FaceTime him just to silently eat TT and Lee Know would just randomly be in the other dorm when Han would exit his bedroom lmao
