2024-03-04 18:10:37 +0000 UTCi really love how much you like btobs performances, i really started to love them in this show. their performances were never really on the top of my ranking list tho. i just love more dance/extrem performances , then mostly just singing ones. (i loved back door tho) the ateez ranking suprised me a lot (just like the skz one in ep 5) the rest ranking was ok for me

The violin playing in their Wannabe performance *chef's kiss* wow. Who is your ult group? Yeah for me ONF just have a specific charisma that draws me to them. You know they just had a comeback last month? Their first one now that they're back from the military :')

I admit I havent been following them too closely since (too many groups, so little time) but I remember their performances so vividly, they just had something no other groups had. I just rewatched the three first episodes of RTK, and honestly every group really showed their colors . Special mention to Golden Child who I think were done dirty :(

I love that show so much and I loved learning more about all the groups. And btw I completely agree with what you said about there being a certain more "hunger, desperation, artistic drive" to the groups on rtk...I think that's why I connect with it more overall. In ONF's case the show was apparently kind of their "last chance" ...thank goodness it worked out for them.

It makes my heart swell seeing him so proud of his members My fave performance was def BTOB the musically jazzy aspect of it was just so fun Then ateez being my second fave they def didnβt deserve last at all But Iβm so looking forward to next ep. I rewatch kingdom at least 1 or 2 times a year since if came out and when you said on ur YouTube channel you were going to be watching it, I immediately had to get ur patreon ! And Iβm really looking forward to you watching Road to Kingdom ! I hope youβll also get to watch Queendom as well! There are 2 seasons of that I think youβll enjoy!

I could write a dissertation on their journey through the show, but this one in particular feels so personal because I remember so clearly how hard it was at the time, with them ranking so highly in expert/peer scores but falling short with voting (because you HAD to vote for three teams, and because they announced the expert rankings before voting opened... there was no way anyone was giving them spare votes if they were already getting high scores) and this just felt like the week that they said f*ck it. They saw the disparity, and even though they knew the formula of easy to understand concepts and references with big highlight moments and they decided to do something for them and their fans anyway. This really just feels like their identity, with all the emotion and raw intensity poured in. It's my favourite Kingdom performance. I'm not sure if anyone has recommended it yet, but the in depth behind the scenes from Kingdom on their youtube gives such a good look at the technicalities behind their performances. Watching them troubleshoot stunts and explain decisions and how they were feeling at the time is fascinating.

There is something about the performances in that show that cannot be achieved by more "established" groups. A hunger, a desperation and an artistic drive that is not lacking exactly, but is not on the same level. The Boys especially gave their best performances in RTK (even though I wasnt even rooting for them to win, I cant deny they earned their victory with those performances) .
