Geonu, on this performance, should learn to stay calm and control when to release the energy so his voice could sound more stable. Like, it's good to be excited, but only enough amount should come out and be used, to maintain stability of the voice, so it won't shake, or so it would come out better. Excitement is similar to pressure, wherein it absence of it is not good but too much is also not good.

I feel if he could open up more, he'd be that much better. I've seen him since I-land and I just want to see him to thrive π

2024-04-28 21:38:23 +0000 UTCI love that the contestants are acting like they're on show me the money with their little banters back and forth. They're cute and playful. And yeah, the "Kick It" team was rough compared to the other performances. It wasn't a "bad" performance but definitely wasn't great. I do think they chose the wrong song and were too ambitious with wanting to show a little of everything that they forgot this was a VOCAL competition. That being said, I'm not against these guys adding choreo or rap in this competition because it does help aid in the performance aspect, but still, it is first and foremost a singing competition. On the other hand, I think Bain/Minseo's performance of "River" is an example of picking the correct song. It has a unique sound and very stylistic, but its still a vocal driven song. It's not a power ballad with crazy high notes and harmonies, but it gave the guys a lot to work with and show off their voices in a stylish way. Also, Geonu and Soomin have one of the cutest friendships build on this show. I love them.
