I read somewhere or was told, that in Japan Kuwabara did not resonate with a Japanese Audience because they don't fuck with underdogs like America's do. I've heard that Kuwabara's popularity is a more American thing. I've watched this show be reacted by a lot of people and Americans love Kuwabara.

Thats why Yusuke seemed so shocked or concerned when he stabbed Sniper. Spirit world has a lot of dumb rules when it comes to humans.
