It's more like red comes to the blue store because they want to buy blue stuff and not because they suddenly want red plastered in there. Most people who are "red", or rather international anime fans, watch anime because it is different compared to what we already get from western stuff. Catering to an audience who doesn't care about the medium like the loud minority or tourists on twitter is how you ruin the medium.

Also Akane isn't asymptomatic since we learned earlier that her Psycho-Pass does go up (e.g when she did the photofit about Makishima). In RPG terms she has insane hue regen, where it takes some minutes only for the hue to start tanking so to speak. I don't think she has the perfectly white hue that Makishima etc have as asymptomatic people tho, but I think pale blue is the closest to white you can get (given how pale blue is clearly the most calm color besides a 0 value like white) as a normie who has brain functions to begin with (I assume veggies are also white hue too, because without brain functions it's not like you rly have emotions or agency whatsoever)

Edgar Friendly was the revolutionary who wants to take down the system, yes, but he wasn't actually violent in doing so. Simon Phoenix was freed in order to kill Edgar Friendly. So you're sorta mixing your metaphors.
