Another fun fact, Revue Starlight started out with live action stage plays before the anime. So when they were writing the show, some of the characters personalities and backgrounds are based on the voice actors in real life. Mahiru's voice actor really was a baton twirling prodigy who won competitions and appeared on tv as a teenager. She's also a huge baseball fan, so they made her audition scene and song baseball themed. Claudine's VA is nothing like her character though. She's not French at all and was a former pro wrestler, lol. She is also the lead singer of the band Roselia
