After everything that happened in Kizu and Bake (from March to late July in Nise), Araragi starts considering whether he should tell his family that he was a vampire. There's no better person than Hachikuji to ask about this, as, by this point, Hachikuji is becoming somewhat of a confidant for Araragi. Hachikuji suggests that the supernatural is what's behind the curtain, and typically, one only needs to see what's happening on stage. If you don't know, then it's better not to know. And knowing about the supernatural only increases the number of things you don't know. So if your family encounters it, then you can guide them, but until then, the answer is to do nothing. This information given to us about the supernatural, presented as just another dialogue, is truly crucial for understanding it. It brings back to the table what oddities or the supernatural really are. Now, looking back after knowing all the cases of each member of the cast, including Araragi's in Kizu, would you be able to decipher what the supernatural is? Btw, the wall of text that appeared after the opening, while not necessary to read, provides interesting information from the light novels. It's not like the ones in Bakemonogatari that flashed in milliseconds, so it should be easy to read by the end of the episode if you're interested.
