This episode is just so cursed from start to finish, the content, context, vibes, and everything is off... Lakan is possibly top tier villain material, if your in his way he will casually slim advise to your jealous younger brother about seaweed and thus plan your death by proxy.. Intelligent, obsessive, amoral, vindictive, and able to manipulate those around with implied threats and secrets. A high ranking General that cannot be rebuked or flat out ignored. MeiMei is implied to possibly be in love with him but she was avoiding talking about it infront of Maomao That is especially creepy as to me that seems like a one-sided relationship, MeiMei seemed to be slightly jealous of Lakan's interest in MaoMao, her comments... The Lady at the end seems almost traumatised and i can assume it is by Lakan also, he likes her type, intelligent with a cold expression. I hate that i have to know how far this all goes and i just know it will get worse. I just hope its not a case of Maomao being her mothers replacement in Lakans eyes because that would be vile.... (its going there tho i feel it...)
