I watched the first episode of this straight after "My Deer Friend Nokotan" This is how i keep my soul balanced and stave off the existental suffering inherent to living. Comical deer girls and suicidal isekai Authors. Thank you Japan.

Finally a Isekai MC i can relate to, when i saw him at the window i thought he was gonna dive out to off himself, but he already had his bottle of pills, fucking hilarious. This is historical revisionism, the real man died in that river with his lover, fucked up to make him an isekai protag but also seems like he might of approved of this level of dark humour. His most famous work outside of Japan or just the only one translated and popularised is called "No Longer Human" a book which really hold nothing back and is very fatalist. It is thought to be an autobiography as he attributed the story to a man he "met" while staying or visiting an asylum/mental hospital. The books name comes from a statement made by the "man/author" that now they could no long be considered human. An exceedingly bleak way of viewing being mentally ill but for the time and culture people actually looked at those suffering with suicidality and mental illness as abject failures and lesser. An interesting book but not the kind that the general public would stomach well.......Very dark and disturbing content. (not kidding)

Tamia was the name of his lover who committed double suicide with Danzai, he called the Cat girl Tama. There was another famous Japanese author who also kill himself who is buried in Tama Japan. Interested how this anime is using famous writers who are depress and off themselves as reference.
