I think Kaido blacked out thinking he was still fighting luffy and then at the last second he came back n realized luffy was already falling, idk when he blacked out and started hallucinating but I'm pretty sure it was when he and luffy clashed for the last time, after that he was hallucinating that him and luffy were going hit for hit. I don't know for sure but that's what i think, so up until 23:40 was real and after that last clash everything was hallucination.

2022-09-18 16:45:56 +0000 UTCYeah, I'm pretty sure Kaido was hallucinating after that Red Roc. Not 100% certain. Oda didn't show this fight up until the very end in the manga. So I would imagine that's what it was.

2022-09-18 15:16:55 +0000 UTCI genuinely think everything after the red Roc clash was Kaido hallucinating which is why Luffy just โdisappearedโ at the end and u see him falling while unconscious. Idk how much of that is fueled by me reading the manga but yeah.

2022-09-18 14:05:29 +0000 UTCThe ending is confusing, but I'm assuming that when they were going to collide at the end Luffy reach his limit and was instantly sent flying. Or at least I believe that's what the animation was trying to portray. iirc they dont even show that moment in the manga, they just cut to Luffy falling.
