Hiroshi will definitely save him. If only Naoru would let him. Thank you for reading! ❤

I won't lie, we both got goose bumps reading your comment. Thank you so much for all the support, for all the praise, it means a lot to us. Now, if we ever feel uninspired or burnt out, we will come back to your comment and read it again to get motivated again :) Thank you very much. We are happy that our story evokes such emotions. It gives us the strength to keep going.

Naoru has a truly dramatic past, which explains his behavior and reactions today. We want to get into the picture and come to his rescue, defending him against those despicable boys. But Hiroshi is not the boy who betrayed him; he's completely different. He's a solid shoulder to lean on. Let's hope these deep-rooted old traumas don't prevent him from having a healthy, trusting relationship now.

Why is this story so compelling? The first thing that drew me in was the high quality of the art, I’m not a person who regularly reads graphic novels, manga etc., but the visuals make my eyes happy! What I didn’t realize at first, though, was the depth of the story, the creators understanding of psychology and what motivates these interesting people; the growth arcs of the characters, and the romance of two flawed people finding some kind of healing through love. The writing and the art seem to be two parts of a whole, working together in a magical way to show us this story as it unfolds. It’s also so stylized, so atmospheric, a universe that looks like the real world yet not exactly…? It doesn’t get any better than this!

Said it before and I'll say it again: I really enjoy how this story is told. Both visually and in the written form. The way the light is rendered in the present moment, kinda warm and golden. So much conveyed in the mundane; the towel on the head, the borrowed clothes (or N's own clothes that H moved over). Making food for someone. That contrasted with the memory the Naoru was pulled into. How much we learn about current Naoru from that brief glimpse. Just...damn! I enjoyed it so much. Worth the wait. Thanks for sharing your art.

Poor sweetheart! Now make sure you tell Hiroshi what you’re thinking about, Naoru. Don’t mess up the beautiful progress you’ve made with each other. 🥹
