BTS Sunday shoot BFC

This shoot was so incredible, we had two new girls on set and they did a fantastic job, stayed focused all the way through as well as getting involved in the usual shenanigans on set. I really enjoyed putting this one together, I’m just so proud of everyone and also so happy I was able to capture such awesome footage. I particularly enjoyed the clips of helping one of the new girls gear up. It really is an excellent example of how supportive the BFC family is towards anyone who is new to this type of work or photoshoot. It’s always important to me personally to have the new girls front and centre most the time, it allows them to properly view their performances if they can see themselves more easily watching it on camera rather then being stuck in the back. Though the idea is the keep the girls faceless in the eps, being able to view your performances to better understand what works best for you on camera can help major in terms of improvement.
So what’s new on set? Well photoman has come up with better ways to start each shoot as a way to loosen up the girls and let them feel more comfortable before we begin. Break the ice if you will. We have started doing sound warm ups so the new girls know that we all make silly grunts in action scenes and it is something you don’t need to take too seriously or feel embarrassed about. This worked incredibly well as once the exercises were complete the tension had dropped majorly and the new girls felt a lot more at ease. So props to Photoman for including this wonderful idea in the shoots. As well as myself giving a little run down on how to properly and safely fall into a body shot, and to go limp onto the ground. I enjoy demonstrations like this as it also allows myself to have a mini warm up too.

also! I am currently experimenting with my leg being taken out during action scenes, I had watched a stunt video of this girl taking different shots to different parts of her body and will be researching further on this, to bring you more and new exciting expenditures.
