Experimenting with back grounds

And I would absolutely love to hear from any tec wizzes on here that may have some tips for me. I am currently studying how to use photoshop. here Is a little experimental piece I did which I don’t think is too shabby.

2022-07-20 22:06:43 +0000 UTCI used about 4 layers, one to add a green cast (in color dodge blend mode), and 3 others with different shadow layers in green and blue. A very slight ground shadow beneath the figure also. All on low opacity, drawn with very soft round brush. Some blend modes are overlay, screen, that kind of subtle thing. I can send the .psd if you like, to take a look.
