Vega

“You better get us down there Stellar” Vega demanded to her space craft while activating the landing thrusters. “Stellar” a compact sleek capsule once owned by her late husband Sorin, had succeeded many journeys before, but Vega wasn’t nearly as experienced as he was.

As the craft decended towards the planets surface, the landing legs were deployed, ready to absorb the shock of the impact. Vega sucked her bottom lip taking a firm hold of the safety harness that had her locked in, preparing herself for the rough landing. Stellar was an older model, but she was far too loved by Sorin to trade or sell. He made many modifications to her while he was earth side, making her much more powerful than she looked. Finally the trusty ship touched down on the ground. There was a plume of dust and debris that whirled around Stellar as it settled, igniting a feeling of excitement and adventure to Vega who was patting the trickle of sweat from her forehead.
A planet and its surface that was once only speculation and scientific data, now being explored by Vega and her beautifully sharp white heels as she emerged from the capsule.
There was a dreamy blue fog in the air, The only sounds present were the deep rumblings of Stellar cooling down from the long journey. The alien planet was far more quiet than Vega anticipated which made her slightly uncomfortable. But she couldn’t let nerves get the better of her now. This quest was far too important to her.

Many of Vega and Sorin’s nights were spent together analysing images of the stars and planets, gathering data on the rotation and movements of celestial bodies. Vega always found herself wrapped in his oversized shirts baring very little underneath, gazing upon him as he courageously retold stories of his adventures. She had heard these stories many times before but Vega knew never to strip a man’s pride of his endeavours away from him, so she would sit listening cozied up in his office hair, legs slightly crossed, stretched out onto the desk. From time to time cheekily uncrossing her legs, revealing her lace panties underneath to distract him from his storytelling. Other then celestial bodies, it was each others bodies that they enjoyed passionately exploring.

Scanning the planets terrain Vega’s mind kept returning to those intense nights. If only he was here with her now to celebrate. But she was alone…
