He constantly acts like the victim but the real victims are the undrafted Black Men who arent tokenized like Lin. The guy made millions just cuz he wasn't Black. He played at all these big markets just cuz the markets had large asian populations. He was spoon fed stardom & flopped. Then when he flops...he makes everything about asian hate LOL but them Asian fans NEVER prop up Black athletes. So do those fans have Black hatred too? He don't want to go down that road cuz he will lose every time, and that's why the NBA didn't call him up ever again 😂😭

2021-05-19 21:43:03 +0000 UTCI have a different perspective than most of the Patrons since I’m from Houston and had to take part in the Linsanity when Jeremy Lin played for the Rockets. When the Rockets originally signed Lin during the 2012 offseason, he was supposed to be the face of the franchise after what he did for the Knicks. Of course with Yao Ming being such a fixture in Houston for many years, Houston’s huge Asian population thought they were getting Yao Ming in the guard form. Then, the Rockets trade for James Harden 4 days before the 2012-13 season starts. People forget that back then we didn’t know if James Harden could be the number one option on a team after he played with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on OKC. The Rockets and Kevin McHale found out very quickly during Harden’s first game as a Rocket when he scored 37 points and had 12 assists that they had a superstar level talent on their hands. Lin played so badly his first season with the Rockets that he lost his starting job to Toney Douglas (remember him?). Then, the 2013 offseason comes around and Dwight Howard (who refused a trade to the Rockets his last year with the Magic), chose the Rockets as a free agent destination over re-signing with the Lakers which is still unheard of to this day. He chose the Rockets because of the potential of playing with Harden not Lin. Now, you would think with Harden, Howard, a young Chandler Parsons, etc. that Lin would have less pressure and play better. Not the case. Jeremy Lin loses his starting job (again) to some guy that was a 2nd round pick named Patrick Beverley (Clippers fans are very familiar with him). I named those examples just to illustrate how big of an underachiever Lin is at life. As stated, if you went to Harvard law and ended up in the NBA as an undrafted player, you failed at life. We used to have what we called LOF (Lin Only Fans) vs. Rockets fans debates online because Lin and his fanbase were insufferable to listen to and reason with. I was so happy when the Rockets traded him to the Lakers. And somebody please tell Javale McGee’s long lost relative (J. Cole) to leave the basketball to actual basketball players, and to keep releasing mediocre music.
